HYBRID CLOUD THAT’S TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES
In its first phase, ImpactData is working to partner with Historically Black Colleges & Universities (“HBCUs) to deliver mission critical infrastructure to underserved communities in key edge markets. Through its Dream Center concept, ImpactData aims to leverage its Hybrid Cloud, Tech for Good platform to provide high speed broadband and workforce development programming to local residents in addition to recurring revenue streams to HBCUs. ImpactData’s ultimate goal is to leverage its inclusion-based data center model across HigherEd centers around the country and to offer corporate enterprises more choices when it comes to finding efficient and cost-effective ways to store and process their workloads. The results of the Global Pandemic have made it even more evident that easy and flexible access to secure data solutions is a must for large Enterprises. By establishing colocation data centers across HigherEd campuses, ImpactData is creating a hybrid multi-cloud solution that grants businesses the opportunity to pick and choose which data storage solutions best suit their needs while providing opportunities for technological exposure, advanced student learning and innovation in underserved communities — thus, creating a more digitally connected ecosystem that is more than just a traditional community center.

With a world-class collection of digital infrastructure experts and a broad network of our nations most respected HBCUs, ImpactData expects to deploy over $1.0 billion in digital infrastructure over the next decade, the largest deployment in the history of higher education.
